I have been based in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 12 years. I am an internationally renowned Argentine tango instructor and performer and have competed in prestigious professional Argentine tango competitions with great success, placing as a Semifinalist in the Campeonato de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires 2023 and a Finalist in the Campeonato para Mujeres en el rol Conductor 2018.
I maintain a busy schedule of tours around the world to teach and perform tango, and have previously taught at the DNI Tango School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is one of the most respected Argentine tango schools in the world. Since I began to dance Tango, I have studied and worked with a variety of internationally celebrated Tango teachers such as Fernando Galera, Virgina Vasconi, Pablo Alvarez, Jorge Olguin and more.
My background in advanced yoga studies (500+hrs CYT certified), along with training in other disciplines as Contemporary Dance/Release and Pilates took my understanding about the body and movements to an unique high level, for which I am well known and have been invited as a touring teacher in many countries.
Through my ability to dance both roles (follow & lead) I have been also invited as en assessor for teachers in communities to help to built up teaching concepts for their students. Based on my trainings and understanding about the body, I developed the Dance Your Flow Classes, where I work on body awareness, alignment and anatomy of movements through Yoga applied to important Tango Concepts and Structures. My main goal in teaching nowadays is to refine Tango steps and the flow of their movement in order to give you an understanding of motion that is independent of whichever tango style you choose.
A detailed overview of my work you find on my website and my YouTube Channel.
I spent my life surrounded by tango, but didn't get involved with this magical dance till I felt the necessity to express myself.
After losing my old brother I realized the need to communicate my feelings, and I found tango as a therapy. In 2011 I start to travel because of tango. Finally, through Tango I discovered a way to help people on a social, personal and artistic level. At this moment my main idea with tango is to develop a system to transmit tango to people with diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
Different studies show the stimulation of different parts of the brain thanks to this music rich in melody, harmony and rhythm. On the other hand, they develop social skills, being in contact with other people and releasing dopamine along with other neurotransmitters that improve psychological and emotional stability. I am currently assisting a closed group of people with Parkinson in Buenos Aires and participating in following the work and evolution of a patient friend along with a professional trainer Sandro Biffi at Trieste, Italy.
I also define myself as a sporty man, not only do I have a degree that enables me to teach tango classes throughout Europe (A.S.C. “Attivita Sportive Confederate Academy”), I am also a fitness instructor with European certification (F.I.F. “Federazione Italiana Fitness”). By mixing disciplines such as calisthenics, gymnastics and floor acrobatics I have developed body awareness. At the same time privately studying didactics and pedagogy.
