Tuesday (Dec 3, 10, 17): Workshop (19:00 - 22:00)

• Practica + Beginner Boost: 19:00 - 19:30

• Lesson: 19:30 - 20:45 (Giros and Turn Technique)

• Practica: 20:45 - 22:00

What will you learn?

Tango is a dance of pure improvisation, where you don’t need to remember any steps.

• It’s like a conversation that can be light and playful, or deep and almost meditative. Close embrace in tango requires healthy posture and heightened sensitivity, allowing dancers to connect on a deeper level and communicate easily. This deep intimacy makes tango a mythical and captivating dance that encourages people to dance throughout their lives.

• As a leader, you will gain the confidence to guide your partner during a milonga using elements from the Tango 1 and Tango 2 workshops. As a follower, you will learn to exist only in the moment and be pleasantly carried by your partner's precise lead. As a couple, you will learn to communicate within the context of your dance embrace and interpret music improvisationally through your dance.
